GSM/UMTS Base Station Development – Subsystem Integration (m/f) – Stuttgart, Germany.

Major Activities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting in the area GSM Base Station Development, integrating the base station subsystem, integrating new features for multi carrier GSM and executing regression tests as well as documenting the test results.
Qualifications:

– General knowledge of the GSM system and Experience in base station integration
– LINUX know-how
– Expertise in scripting like Perl
– Good German and English (spoken and written)
– Quick adjustment to a new job in complex systems

Furthermore you should follow an autonomous, pro active and solution oriented approach. You are team oriented and persevering. You have good communication and presentation skills.

Assoc. Information Network Officer, UN Climate Change secretariat m/w

The Associate Network Officer will be responsible for ensuring smooth functioning of the secretariat Active Directory infrastructure and related services at headquarters and during UNFCCC conferences and workshops. 

Basic requirements:
First university degree in Computer Science, Information System, System Engineering or an equally qualifying field.
At least three (3) years of relevant professional experience in network administration especially in the areas of active directory.
Good knowledge of VMWare or alternative virtualization an asset.
Thorough knowledge of Active Directory with proven track record in working with Microsoft systems and Active directory.   Hands on experience in working with global policies and other active directory services a must. MSCE/MCSA certification an advantage.
Ability to write and speak in English. Good knowledge of another UN Languages or German an asset.
